EXPERIENCE

Everything about Braestone offers a simpler yet refined country lifestyle.  Families will love being able to walk, bike, or cross-country ski the extensive trails that run through the community. Winter is the time for tobogganing down from the ridge to the valley below, or ice skating on fish-stocked ponds. In summer, it’s baseball or soccer in Braestone’s very own playing field. And at night, gaze up at the stars from the hilltop called Starfall. Every season, residents will be able to come together for the annual sap collection, sugaring and bottling of the community’s maple syrup, as well as yearly harvest events around the communal fruit orchard and kitchen garden. It’s the richer way of living you’ve always wanted for your family. And it’s here at Braestone.

LOCATION

Located in Oro-Medonte within the beautiful Horseshoe Valley, Braestone is 566-acres of tranquil land situated within a few minutes drive of countless forms of recreation and a four-lane highway that can take you to the neighouring cities of Barrie or Orillia, or to Toronto in just over an hour’s drive. At the same time, Braestone is a private place tucked into a secluded, peaceful and inspiring landscape. To enter the community, one drives along a country road known as Ninth Line North, beneath a leafy canopy of trees, past the horse paddocks and through a stone gateway where the outside world ends and a quite different world begins.

THE MASTER PLAN

For its residents, Braestone will be an experience of the countryside, on a tract of land where the essential rural characters will remain largely unchanged.

SITE PLAN

Topography has played a key role in the planning of Braestone, with the varied terrain and the large hill that dominates the site helping establish neighbourhoods with distinctive character, all adding to the richness of life here. Each home site will be positioned to optimize views, respect its natural surroundings and provide seclusion, affording residents maximum interaction with their environment. At completion, a total of 229 homes on estate lots, averaging one acre each, will make up the community of Braestone, while a full 60 percent of the 566 acres will be preserved in its natural state. By design, Braestone is a community that is a near-perfect blend of nature and neighbourliness, and proximity with privacy. Perfect for you.
